Mrs. Hoke, our new Campus Pastor, expresses a passion for Jesus and a commitment to her faith. Hoke’s hope is for each student to realize that they are “Called by Name” and loved by God.
Mrs. Hoke is excited about her first year at the school, and says, “I think the students are awesome.”
Her own three children attend King’s. When she’s not planning chapels and events like the upcoming Bible Conference or preparing to speak at the Senior retreat, she can be found boating and being out on the water or watching her favorite movie, Jumanji, with her kids.
Some advice Mrs. Hoke offers students on their spiritual journeys is to, “Make time every day for God to speak to you. This might mean reading the Bible, this might mean prayer, this might mean worship. But take time.” Hoke has found that reading Psalms every morning on an app called Pray as You Go has helped her stay connected to God.
